Hello all! Okay, my life so far is music and school (they are the same thing a lot of the time) and awesome people. I am at EA right now, and it is a wonderful place, but I am ready to move on to ASU in January. I auditioned as a music therapy major on Saturday, and I will post it when I get the result. I think I did well, but I will have to wait and see if I get in. I play the viola. It is just a little bit bigger and a little bit lower than a violin (a perfect 5th for those of you who speak "music-ese.") I want to be a music therapist to work with kids who have disabilities. My music teachers taught me that a disability did not need to limit me because of the inner strength and courage I had. I want to show other kids what they are made of as well, to help them see how neat they are. Here's a slideshow my dad put together of me and my instruments. I like it.
Another important part of my life is my amazing brother. He is 16 and one of the coolest kids I know. That's not to say that I don't want to wring his scrawny neck a lot of the time, but when it comes right down to it he is an amazing friend. Here are some older pictures of us on my graduation day. The top one is cute. It is certainly out of date as he is almost 6'4 now. In the picture below he tickled me just before the picture was taken. He is always finding a way to annoy me, but he is too cute to stay mad at. He is my hero because of what I have seen him do for others. He treats every person as if they were amazing and heroic, even when they don't deserve it. The result is usually that they become amazing and heroic. He is a natural leader and an optimist, and one of the most loyal and forgiving people I know.
What else is going on in my life right now you may ask. I don't really know. Nothing really. I'll post more later. (Just don't ask when that is.)
